Timeless Watch: Contemporary Watchmaking with a Twist

Intriguing and novel timepieces are hard to come by. The industry is ripe with opportunities to showcase unique designs and fresh approaches to watchmaking, but all too often the final product falls short. Timeless Watch has embarked on the journey of re-inventing the wheel, as they say, with its first watch. And I think that the collective brains-trust behind the new watchmaking maison has found its winning formula.

Timeless Watch is made up of industrial designers, watchmakers and architects. With differing fields of expertise and thought, the paradox of creating a harmonious product that balanced the key elements of the multi-skilled team was borne: Past meeting present, present meeting future.

Drawing inspiration from a multitude of design cultures across the centuries, Timeless Watch blended the worlds of impressions from the Industrial Revolution to early 20th century streamlining, from particle colliders to Mars explorers. Throughout the piece are cues of design inspiration in the form of curves and textures, elements of depth and powerful shapes. Details adorn the piece throughout, balancing simplicity with complexity, innovation with tradition.

Timeless Watch has released two distinct models, with each piece referencing the maison's ideologies and modernistic approach. Both models will feature circular satin, sandblasted and polished details throughout the 41.50mm case with beautiful architectural steel and gold lugs. The domed sapphire glass crystal covers the circular satin-brushed anthracite or matte white dial depending on which model you choose, both with a guilloche centre and a window exposing some of the gears from the Swiss made automatic calibre beneath the centre stack of hands.

Timeless Watch has produced a timepiece that is truly unique, marrying the worlds of art-deco with industrial design in a super avant-garde, modern watch whose design still pays tribute to the generational design aspects of watchmaking.
